Scarlet Pimpernel (Weatherglass, Poor Man's Weatherglass, ) - Anagalis arvensis - Perennial - Medicinal - This pretty member of the primrose family grows wild in many parts of the world and has red 5-petaled flowers on low growing foliage. A perfect choice for the front of a border or a rock garden. The flowers close before a rain, an action which give the plant the name Weatherglass.
