Greek Myrtle - Myrtus communis - Tender perennial - Culinary, Medicinal - This lovely evergreen shrub is covered with dense dark green leaves and bears fragrant white flowers in spring. Often used in potpourris and sachets, the leaves can also be used like bay leaf.  Berries are edible, but not tasty. Makes a great house plant in cooler zones. Partial shade; Hardy to 20F (-12.2C);  height: 15ft.
