Mexican Heather - Cuphea hyssopifolia - Annual or tender perennial - Plant forms a rounded shape - perfect for borders or for use as pot plants.  Better known in the southern US than the northern or midwestern states, due to it's tolerance to drought,  it's small slightly rounded shiny green leaves and small blossoms make it a cheerful addition to any garden.  Flowers last well into the fall in colder climates and the plants are perennial to -10F (-23.3C).  Full sun or partial shade;  plant height: 12in.
