Matthiola - An old Victorian favorite, stocks are making a comeback. They are lovely plants, with bright green foliage and flower spikes covered with bloom. An excellent cut flower for arrangements. A good cool weather crop, they are very easy to grow and will provide color when most other annuals have slowed down for the year or have not yet begun. Start seeds from August to February for bloom the follwing summer or fall. (24 weeks from sowing to bloom)
