Osage Orange - Maclura pomifera - Native American tree with a short trunk with spreading branches and large inedible fruits resembling a hard orange. Wood from the trees was used by native Americans to make bows. The trees are often used for hedgerows and windbreaks. Hardy to -20F (-28.8C); height: 60ft.
