Morning Glory
Ipomoea - A collection of annual and perennial twining vines prized for their bright blooms and rounded green foliage. Fast growing, they are perfect for trellises, fences, hanging baskets, or walls. The family includes the sweet potato and convulvulus. Flowers of most types open early in the morning and remain through one day. They will thrive in full sun or partial shade in nearly any soil. Most grow to 15-20 feet in length. You may sow seed directly in the garden when all danger of frost has passed, or begin seeds in pots or plug trays indoors, for quicker results. For best germination, nick the seeds with a knife or file and soak them for about 8 hours prior to sowing.
