Giant Gunnera - Gunnera manicata - Perennial;  Huge plant grown for its large umbrella-like foliage which can reach 8ft. in diameter.  The blooms, too, are unique, looking like huge red cobs or corn.  Great poolside, patio, or greenhouse plant as it requires a great deal of water to maintain.  Does well in warmer climates outdoors or in large containers.  Hardy to 40F (-1.1C)  Full sun; height: 4ft.
