Darley Heath (Winter Heath) - Erica x darleyensis - Pale lilac tubular bloom clusters flower over a long period - October through March - even blooming under snow. The evergreen foliage has a feathery appearance.  Low, mounding plant is an excellent choise for winter interest.  Heaths have shallow root systems and do best when grown in well drained, rather sandy soils.  Hardy to -20F (-28.8C); height: 12in.
